Creative Process

The creative process starts when you first contact Walls With Imagination by phone or email. We will schedule an appointment to meet, evaluate the size and scope of the project, and assist you in making choices about the type of project that best suits your needs.
Throughout the process we work with your goals in mind. We realize your decision to have professional artwork in your home is about making your home reflect your creativity and style. The senior designer will work with your ideas and decor in mind to create several different design schemes on paper for your approval. If design time is needed, we can schedule a future appointment to view and discuss your custom design options.
Once the details of the job are defined and you are completely satisfied with the preliminary designs, a contract will be presented to you. At this time, the client will be asked to provide a deposit for the cost of materials and a portion of the labor.
We work with you to schedule the painting of the project during the time of your choosing. Typically, work is performed between 8 and 5 Monday through Friday.
During the execution of the project, Walls With Imagination will make every effort to be as “low-impact” as possible. Drop cloths are placed, trim is taped out, walls are inspected and imperfections are repaired. If base coats of paint are needed, we can take care of that for you. For certain projects a chalk drawing will be completed on the wall. Depending on the nature of the project, the painting is usually built up in several different layers of paint. Details will eventually start to appear and you will have the opportunity to watch the artistic process in action. During each stage of the creative process your opinion is encouraged and respected. Walls With Imagination prides itself on customer satisfaction and will make every effort to ensure that you are completely happy with the high degree of quality and content of the custom artwork in your home. Walls With Imagination always leaves your home as clean or cleaner than it was upon our arrival. Following the successful completion of the project, the outstanding balance will be due.
